Meet Jesse Curtis: GTC Consulting Welcomes New Associate

GTC Consulting is excited to welcome Jesse Curtis to our team as our newest Associate.

Jesse Curtis, Utah Lobbyist

Jesse joins us with a strong background in civic education and a genuine passion for helping people understand and engage with the policymaking process — a perspective that will help strengthen our work on education policy and grassroots advocacy.

A graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in History Teaching, Jesse went on to earn his Master of Education from Westminster College, where his graduate thesis focused on promoting civic engagement and encouraging active citizenship among students. For the past 13 years, he has taught social studies in the Park City School District, where he's built a reputation for lessons that do more than cover the material — they push students to identify issues they care about and find real ways to advocate for change.

That same commitment to community involvement carries over into his volunteer work with the Cottonwood Heights Youth Community Council, where he continues to support young people in finding their voice on local issues.

At GTC Consulting, Jesse will focus on education policy, bringing a firsthand understanding of Utah's classrooms and school systems to our advocacy work. His ability to translate complex policy issues into clear, relatable terms — a skill honed over more than a decade in the classroom — makes him a valuable addition to our team as we continue helping clients navigate Utah's legislative process.

Jesse will continue teaching while transitioning into his role with GTC Consulting, allowing him to bring current, real-world insight from Utah classrooms directly into the policy conversations that affect them.

Please join us in welcoming Jesse to the team.
